Oxford's Leading Oom-Pah Band. We are a group of 5 talented musicians ready to bring real spirit to any event or Beer Festival. We play traditional German songs as well as some more modern popular numbers.
Brass comes to OomPah music.
Based in Oxford, we're a group of 5 university students.
Our repertoire is based on typical German melodies, we play waltzes and polkas which are great to dance to and every waltz and polka
has its own drinking game attached. So lift your Stein and prepare for an evening of good old German fun.
Interspersed between these pieces, we'll do a bit of OomPah karaoke. The birthday boy or girl, the married couple or an eager member of the audience is invited up on stage to sing with us some German style songs. Always great fun and a fabulous way to embarrass yourself in front of your friends.
Generally we perform two 45 minute sets with the second set a little more raucous than the first and with a lot more audience participation.
And yes we do come in costume!!
We've played for a number of Oxford balls, birthday parties, Bierkellers, Beer festivals and Garden Parties

Great German Oktoberfest themed 30th surprise party on Saturday made brilliant by the Oompah band. I got let down 5 days before the party by the band and this brilliant band did not hesitate to step in last min and provide a band at short notice for my party. From the 1st contact we had with the band they were so professional and helpful and replied in a timely manner and we're extremely helpful from asking us about music requests to timings of the band playing. The band set the atmosphere for the German themed night and got the party started with swaying, bouncing, fun and laughter. They were a pleasure to have had at the party and really made it special.
