The 'Unique Sound of Brass with a Touch of Class'
For over a quarter of a century, have been entertaining audiences throughout the north-west of England, further afield and even overseas with its special brand of brass music.
The ten-piece group was formed in 1980 by like-minded brass players who wanted to explore a wider range of music than was available to traditional brass bands.
And how the group’s style has moved with the times – and its repertoire expanded to cater for changing tastes – since then!
The ensemble now performs for virtually any type of event which requires music – either centre stage or in the background. Our programmes are tailored specifically for each occasion – from concerts, weddings and family celebrations to corporate functions, garden parties and bier kellar evenings.
Their members have played with some of the finest brass bands in Lancashire and Yorkshire, so their standards of musicianship are of the highest calibre.
A ten-piece brass ensemble which is full of verve and versatility! Whether you’re planning a family occasion like a wedding or anniversary, a corporate event at which you wish to impress your clients and shareholders, or simply a fun evening, this is the group for you.
Our varied repertoire spans popular and traditional, baroque and the classics, swing and singalong – the choice is yours. And whatever that choice, you will be assured of an occasion to remember!
For a good old hand-clapping, thigh-slapping night out, why not book their other band to put the oompah into your Bavarian-style bier kellar evening?
We can create a real fun party atmosphere at which audience participation is compulsory. Swaying and ‘shunkling’ is also obligatory! With our ‘gruppenfuhrer musikmeister’ in charge, you will understand why ‘vee haf vays of making you enjoy yourselves’!!
All members of the group have performed in many of the countries premier concert venues.
